The curriculum frameworks outcomes in health and physical education learning area focuses on the holistic concept of health. It recognises the physical, mental, emotional and social dimensions of health.
Our younger generation are growing up in a complex and diverse society, faced with ever-changing family structures, sedentary practices and bombarded with unhealthy behaviours by a variety of sources. At Denning Boxing & Fitness Gym, we promote the development of healthy, active lifestyles for students. Through contribution and participation in physical activity, students improve their physical skills and fitness and become aware of the important role that motivation, enthusiasm, self-esteem and self-discipline play in the maintenance of a healthy community.
The main focus of the programs we offer include the importance of non-violent behaviours and respecting others.
There are two age appropriate programs that we offer to students, years 4 – 7 and years 8 – 12.
The schools program includes and promotes health & well being/nutrition, self confidence & self esteem, motivation, co-ordination, self management, focus & concentration and motor skills.

- Forward & backward movements
